So I got this message from a beloved sister today aside the daily increasing comments on our youtube channel on our latest movie "My Backup" "I just watched 'My Backup' on YouTube. May God bless and continue to strengthen you and your husband's hands as you deliver these timely messages. Just yesterday, the Lord was warning me that ministry is not 'attention-seeking.' We are prone to connect to people based on our admiration of them, but most of the time what we admire of their 'anointing' is the attention it brings & the high horse it seems to sit them on. Our generation and those following us are in grave danger. The truth is that the true model of ministry is not common at all. So all we see & think ministry is, is the number of meetings, the sensationalism of it all, the special treatment and the merchandising of the anointing, and in these days of social media, the number of likes too.
